About Kāeo Library
Kāeo Library is a unique rural library that is well worth a visit. It is located in the historic Post Office building in the heart of the town and doubles as the council service centre.
The township of Kāeo is the starting point for journeys to the Whangaroa Harbour and further on, to Doubtless Bay and the top of the island. The town services the surrounding rural community.
The library is spread through a number of rooms and has a range of fiction, non-fiction, children’s books and DVDs. Customers can also access free Wi-Fi and public internet.
The old Postmaster Office can be used as a meeting room. Photocopying and scanning services are also available.
