Castlecliff Library

Castlecliff Library is a small but mighty part of the Whanganui District Library network—run by the community, for the community.

Located on Rangiora Street next to the Citadel Café, it’s a self-service spot with a carefully curated selection of books and mags for all ages. You’ll find around 1,000 titles, free Wi-Fi, thanks, and a welcoming space to read, chill, or catch up with neighbours.

Shared with a local business, and with a sunny deck out front, it’s got a laid-back beach vibe that reflects the heart of the Castlecliff community. It might be the smallest branch, but it’s packed with local pride.
