Pinehaven Library is our only Community Library, located at the south-east corner of the city. It is well-loved and most regularly visited by the residents of Pinehaven, Silverstream, and Trentham.

Pinehaven Library has a unique history in that the land and building were donated to the city by the community of Pinehaven. Pinehaven Library was run by volunteers between 1951 and 1994, when it was gifted to the city of Upper Hutt.
